Step inside the Beach House in Puerto Pollensa

When you step inside The Beach House in Puerto Pollensa, you immediately feel its calming energy. This villa sits perfectly between the beach and the Serra de Tramuntana mountains.

Ibiza Inspiration, Mallorcan Craftsmanship

The project was brought to life by Samantha KnightPaul Robinson, and NB Architects Palma. Together they reimagined the original house as a modern Ibiza-style retreat.

They carefully planned the layout to create a sense of flow and openness. Rustic textures and natural materials sourced from Mallorca add depth and warmth to an otherwise minimalist space.

Originally from London, the designer collaborated closely with local artisans, designing bespoke furniture and handcrafted décor. Every detail — from the natural fabrics to the lighting — was chosen to reflect a relaxed Mediterranean elegance.

Blending interior & exterior

One of the most striking features of The Beach House is how effortlessly the interior merges with the exterior.
Large bi-fold doors in the main living area open directly onto a pergola that steps down into a lush garden filled with lemon trees, banana palms, and vibrant bougainvillea.

At the garden’s centre lies a serene Indonesian-inspired pool, tiled in soft jade green to evoke the feeling of a natural spring. This combination of texture, scent, and colour creates a soothing atmosphere — the essence of Balearic living.

Effortless Beauty & Handcrafted Details

The pergola transitions seamlessly from a daytime lounge to an evening dining space.
An oversized dining table made from recycled Obra wood, crafted by Conalma Design Mallorca, anchors the space. Around it, handcrafted wicker chairs from a local Palma retailer add warmth and charm.

hat rack made from aged olive wood hangs beach towels, straw baskets, and sun hats — simple touches that embody relaxed island life.

To complete the scene, Paul Robinson and his team installed subtle, contemporary lighting within the bamboo ceilings. The soft glow contrasts beautifully with the rustic textures, creating a welcoming ambience for long summer evenings.

A Transformed Sanctuary

The house bears little resemblance to its former self — once an abandoned holiday home, now reborn as a sanctuary of calm and character.
From the moment you arrive on the white gravel driveway and glimpse the garden oasis and pergola, you know you’ve arrived somewhere special.
